I started as an engineer and stayed because the problems got more interesting. The hardest ones were rarely in the technology. They sat in the gap between what it could do and what organisations were able to use it for. That gap is where I work:

Setting the vision, building the teams and making sure what gets built actually delivers value.

These days that increasingly means AI and how enterprises adopt it without amplifying the problems they already have.

I still build things myself, because it keeps my instincts grounded in what is actually possible.

More than 15 years of building platforms and the teams behind them, across Finance, Commodities, Technology Energy and Life Sciences.

Product and platform strategy: Roadmap, P&L and go-to-market for multi-million platform portfolios, with adoption driven through self-service and phased rollout to thousands of users.
Cloud and platform engineering: Azure, AWS and GCP at scale. Automation that sharply cut provisioning, deployment and recovery times.
AI and data platforms: Cloud, data and AI platforms for pharma, biotech and financial institutions in regulated environments, including platforms designed for AI agents as a new class of user.
FinOps and security: Cost governance across three clouds delivered millions of dollars in annualised savings. Secure-by-design controls measurably improved security benchmark scores.
Leadership and advisory: Large, globally distributed teams. Built product management functions from scratch and C-suite workshops that shaped multi-year cloud adoption roadmaps.
